Pay Codes: Associate Pay Codes with Productive Types

Access: Users assigned the Facility - Change permission. By default, the following roles are assigned the permission: PI Labor Corporate Administrators roles and higher. 

Each Pay Code must be associated with a Productive Type by the Facility Scheduler Implementation Team in association with the Facility Administrator and Time/Attendance Coordinator.

The pay codes you define for each Productive Type for a Facility become the only Pay Codes available to select for any Department Shift in the Facility.

  Note: Pay Codes come from the client and are loaded in FS. They are not preset.

To assign pay codes to a shift type: 

1. Navigate to  Facilities > Pay Codes.
2. The Pay Codes screen displays each of the five Productive Types with a multi-select list of all Pay Codes.
3. Select pay codes to associated with each shift type.
4. Click Save. Note that when you save, the screen does not change.

  Note: Placeholder shifts should not be associated with any Pay Codes. The selected Pay Codes are the only codes available to associate shifts with that Productive Type.
